On 1st August Daisy II gave birth to Daisy III on the lawn in front of Giraffe Manor!

It was a very exciting moment when Daisy II approached the Manor and stood in the garden to give birth to Daisy III. She spent most of the afternoon walking around slowly and easing the baby giraffe out. Giraffe continue standing whilst giving birth, and the young baby drops out onto the ground. This amazing natural spectacle was enjoyed by guests at Giraffe Manor who watched from the sitting room and terrace.
Daisy III is developing well now, and we are now awaiting the birth of another baby from Lynne! Watch this space!
