Safari Helicopter Tours

Stationed between Sasaab and Solio Lodge, The Safari Collection’s own helicopter takes guests on some fabulous Safari helicopter tours, to some of the remotest places on earth. We asked ourselves, how can our fabulous sales team in the office accurately describe this experience to guests? And the answer was – they can’t possibly – unless they’ve lived and breathed it themselves! That’s why we whisked them off on the trip of a lifetime to see the Jewels of the North and the Sacred Mountain.

Our Eurocopter AS 350 B3 helicopter is based at either Sasaab or Solio.

And boy did they feel the power of nature. Resilient, wild and untamed. The whole team were blown away by the variety of the landscape and were taken aback by the totally interactive nature of the trip… sand boarding down dunes, swimming in pools, hunting for fossils, landing on sacred mountains for sundowners. A completely immersive adventure and SO much more than a simple sightseeing tour.
