Meet our friendly giraffe and pumba families!

EXPERIENCE: Giraffe Manor offers a unique and unforgettable experience to interact with Africa’s most elegant and beautiful safari animal – the giraffe. Guests of all ages will delight in meeting our resident Rothschild’s giraffe, which roam the grounds of the wildlife sanctuary surrounding this quirky, boutique hotel. Although they are completely wild, the giraffes love the nutritious treats that guests are able to feed them* – you can even receive a slobbery giraffe kiss by offering one between your lips! You will also meet a host of ‘pumbas’ (warthogs) darting around the lawns. While staying at the manor, don’t miss a visit to the nearby David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust which rescues orphaned elephant babies from all over Kenya. Learn about their rescue stories as you watch them being fed and put to bed. Breakfasting with the giraffe the next morning is a thrilling start to your African adventure.
