MBOKO CAMP

Mboko Camp sits on the lush banks of the Lekoli River, where open savannah meets primary rainforest. It is one of the three new eco-camps in Odzala-Kokoua National Park in the Republic of Congo.

The multitude of habitats in the area attract abundant wildlife, highlights of which include the African grey parrot, the guereza colobus monkey and over 416 butterfly species. Enjoy night time walks to discover some of the nocturnal species and adventure by foot into the network of streams and marshes to learn about the rainforest ecosystem. Drift slowly downstream spotting brightly coloured kingfishers and perhaps one of the two harmless crocodile species in the area: the slender snouted crocodile and the African dwarf crocodile. Fall asleep to the soothing sound of the river flowing by.
