The area around Sala’s Camp is teeming with diverse wildlife and our professional guides are eager to tell you about the plants and animals you come across. Our game drive vehicles are specially designed to ensure maximum game viewing and comfort. Kitted out with Maasai blankets and ponchos to keep you warm, sun cream, fridges filled with cold drinks, hot drinks, books and sweets, we have got everything covered to keep you happy during a game drive.

For keen photographers, game drives in the Masai Mara offer the ultimate experience. From sweeping skylines to thrilling spectacles such as the migration and the immense variety of wildlife, there are endless photographic opportunities. Our guides are there to help you capture the perfect shot; simply tell them what you’re looking for and they’ll do their best to assist. We also have bean bags in each vehicle for positioning cameras steadily on the sides.

If you would like to head out for a full day’s game drive with the freedom to spend as long as you want photographing the wildlife, we can pack a picnic lunch for you to take. Our guides are experts at finding the perfect shady picnic spots with idyllic views.
