Created exclusively for guests of Giraffe Manor and The Safari Collection, The Retreat at Giraffe Manor provides the perfect beginning or ending to any African safari. Surrounded by nature, it offers an exquisite wellness experience for our Manor House guests as well as a day room facility for guests of The Safari Collection portfolio who require a stopover in Nairobi. Located just 80 metres to the left of the main manor house, it shares the same tranquil outlook over the forested giraffe sanctuary.
YOUR NAIROBI RETREAT
Designed to pay homage to the original house next door, The Retreat at Giraffe Manor is an elegant mix of open plan indoor and outdoor spaces. High ceilings and impressively large arched windows frame the Manor’s iconic herd of giraffes which might be glimpsed loping across the lawns in the distance or at the end of the infinity pool.
DAY ROOMS
Our four day bedrooms are all located on the first-floor and a provide peaceful space for those wishing to rest pre and post-travel. Guests are NOT able to stay overnight at The Retreat or visit Giraffe Manor, however our en-suite bedrooms can be booked for the day and provide the ultimate comfort alongside our wellness centre.
RETREAT PASS
An ideal option for those seeking to unwind in the serene surrounds of The Retreat, but do not require a day bedroom. The Retreat Pass allows full use of all the facilities so you can soak in the hot tub, book yourself in for a spa treatment, take a dip in the pool or work out in the gym. Visit Daisy’s Café for a scrumptious homemade snack or meal, recline in the lounge with a drink from the bar or soak up some rays on our roof top garden or poolside sundeck.

- US$ 275 per person
- Includes: complimentary water; luggage storage; use of facilities (pool, gym, steam room, sauna, hot tub).
- Excludes: all food and drinks; day room use; spa treatments; excursions; access to Giraffe Manor.
- Maximum capacity of 10 day passes per day.
EARLY BIRD PACKAGE
Our Early Bird Package is ideal for travellers arriving into Nairobi on an early flight who do not require a day bedroom. Within easy reach of both the international and domestic airports, travellers will find The Retreat a welcoming escape in which to rest, recharge and nourish the body and soul before onward adventures. Re-energise with a delicious breakfast from Daisy’s Café and enjoy full use of the pool, spa area, gym and tranquil green surrounds.

- US$ 275 per person
- Includes: continental breakfast; complimentary water; luggage storage; use of facilities (pool, gym, steam room, sauna, hot tub).
- Excludes: all food and drinks; day room use; spa treatments; transfers; excursions; access to Giraffe Manor.
- Maximum capacity of 8 day passes per day.
- Please note that the giraffes do NOT have access to breakfast at The Retreat.
