For those wishing to rest pre and post travel, The Retreat at Giraffe Manor offers four luxury day bedrooms available exclusively for guests of Sala’s Camp, Sasaab and Solio Lodge to book. They provide peaceful spaces in which to sleep, bathe in spacious en-suites or perhaps write your travel journal at the desk space. Each room is lovingly named after our youngest giraffes at the Manor.
All four of The Retreat’s stunning day rooms are located on the first floor, with a wonderful natural outlook and a tranquil feel. Spacious and light, each room features a writing desk, lounge area for relaxing and the option of a king-sized or twin beds.
Guests are NOT able to stay overnight at The Retreat or visit Giraffe Manor, however our en-suite bedrooms can be booked for the day and provide ultimate comfort alongside our wellness centre.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Retreat, like the Garden Manor, is only open to guests of The Safari Collection portfolio and therefore can only be booked in combination with one or more of our bush properties (Sasaab, Solio Lodge and/or Sala’s Camp) excluding Giraffe Manor. If guests are only staying at Giraffe Manor, they can use The Retreat facilities during their stay within the check-in and check-out hours. If they require a Retreat Pass, Early Bird Package or Day Room at any other point during their safari, they can book up to 12 weeks prior to arrival. To reserve a pass or Day Room at The Retreat before this period, Giraffe Manor guests are welcome to book one of our bush properties.
4 weeks from arrival, any last-minute space at The Retreat (Day Rooms, Retreat Pass or Early Bird) will be available to book as a standalone destination.
