This tremendous introduction to Kenya’s natural wonders starts in the spectacular uplands of northern Kenya. After staying in the wild and rugged Samburu, you will then head to the awe-inspiring Aberdare National Park and Mount Kenya home to both white and black rhino. Next you will fly to the Masai Mara – Kenya’s world-famous safari landscape – for an unforgettable bush experience. Then it’s time for relaxation in the sun and swimming in the Indian Ocean at glorious Kinondo Kwetu in Kenya’s South Coast. Back in Nairobi we stay in elegant Giraffe Manor, where the resident giraffe drop in to be fed by the guests.

WHEN TO GO
The Kenyan coast has a different climate to the savannah lands such as the Masai Mara. On the beach itself, the humidity is normally kept at bay by the breezes that blow onshore from the Indian Ocean. The best time to visit is usually between December and March. During April and May, and November the heat is broken by rain. But because it has an equatorial climate, coastal temperatures remain steadily hot for most of the year.
